THR™ is a
unique system for the
direct selection of
thermostable mutants of
a protein.
THR™ is an innovative
approach, based on the
use of a thermophilic
microorganism,
Thermus thermophilus,
which quickly
identifies the most
stable mutants of a
protein of interest from
very large mutant
libraries.
Merely 12 hours are needed to
select more than 107
mutants following the
sole criterion of heat
stability,
regardless of their
nature and their
characteristics. THR™
has been validated in
our laboratory for the
optimization of
therapeutic proteins and
enzymes.
