OPTAZYME is a platform for the optimization of enzymes that includes two proprietary technologies: Massive Mutagenesis and THR (heat resistant). 

Used for over 10 years for many contracts, it has allowed, since 2007, to develop a cocktail of three improved enzymes (endoglucanase, beta-glucosidase and xylanase), able to convert the amorphous cellulose and hemicellulose (from the fractionation step), into monomeric fermentable sugars. 

The optimization of these enzymes is designed to make them heat-stable, to enhance their substrate specificity and to minimize their inhibition by the end-products.

The sugars obtained can subsequently be transformed into biofuels and different chemical oil-derived compounds.
